Mobile Transcript is one of the few productivity apps created just for lawyers. This app gives lawyers the opportunity to review deposition and court transcripts optimized for the iPad, with various interactive features. View all transcripts for all cases by logging into this app. Lawyers must register for free online account so the app works, at www.MobileTranscript.com. Highlight key testimony with the tap of a finger and quickly e-mail selected points (in Excel format or PDF with yellow highlights) to associates or expert witnesses. Email highlights to a paralegal, who then quickly creates a deposition summary. The app logs the lawyers billable time. The time log is exportable, in Excel or PDF, from online account. Lawyers ask court reporters to upload transcripts to their accounts, or lawyers may request an account upgrade, to upload their own transcripts, to [email protected]. This app increases the lawyers productivity levels and provides an opportunity for billable hours while the lawyer is in transit or without Internet service.
